They did it at my high school. Definitely should be available.
I’m self taught, but I find it SO useful day to day in simple situations.
But honestly, nothing compares to striking up conversations with a deaf/hh people and seeing how happy everyone is to talk to me and teach me new things. Never once has anyone been rude to me or made me feel like I was being annoying. Also!! At least in my city, there’s always ASL events going on that you can go to and they are great for meeting new people and learning more abt the community all together. It’s all just so positive and I rlly love it omg
